Fun stuff!

It's a novelty to be an online Flash game. Most are played by yourself, so you don't get that neat chat atmosphere, but this game has an easy-to-use chat that never really gets used. It's a shame.

To improve this game, give us accounts, allow tank upgrades, and allow key input. I hate moving with the mouse. Look at Gunbound for a nice example.

Needs more interaction and...

This is a Windows simulator, and it should have some form of MSPaint and some card games stashed on the Start menu. Also, the Start menu seemed to be the same options as the desktop. Try adding some sort of difference to them. If you log off, it asks for your name again. You should save that info. Also, the sound loop gets annoying.

Other than those small issues, I like this. Great work. Try making a non-NG theme.

Most unreal collection of tutorials ever.

This would be a great resource for any newcomer to learn how to do some amazing stuff in Flash; instead, most people just read individual tutorials. I would have so used this, had I known about it. There were tutorials and guides for applications other than Flash, which surprised me. I looked at everything just to be sure it all was top notch, and it all was.

One thing you may want to add is a way to disable the music. While the music is a little catchy, it's a short loop, and it gets old fast. Also, I listen to my own music, and your music was mixed in, so yeah... rid us of the sound loop.

Very bad animation; not a game.

Very, very bad. I may not like RS much any longer, but this is nothing like the game.

its exactly like the actual game. stop lying to yourself.

this simulator is supposed to simulate the eventual outcome of everyone's runescape experience in much less time.

the ironic thing is i made this back when runescape was bearable :p its gotten even worse in the past year or so (or so i've heard...)

Good for its limited audience.

Not many people play flash games with their webcams. Don't yell at me for reviewing even though I had no webcam. I'll trust that it works, so that gets you a good score, but the animation is too simple and repetitive, and the calibration stuff took a while. However, the music was nice for such a game, and the sound effects were used appropriately. I'd give it a higher interactivity score if only you had more customization built into the game. Try a choice of multiple themes. Ninjas or samurai for instance.

Nice for a Flash game!

I don't really find it enjoyable. I wish I could move around. Yes, I expect a lot more. However, the graphics are very well ripped and presented.

The most immersive game on NG!

I loved it. Unfortunitely, it does have some faults, but a lot of what was wrong was also right. For example, it could easily tell what my username was, but the game wouldn't completely work offline, which is what I like to do with games, because I play them over extended periods of time.

If you plan to continue, create an engine.

Sniggle was far too harse. RPG creation tools are nothing new, and RPG Maker 2003 isn't the first, so he shouldn't claim this is based on it. However, I must agree that testing whatever you make is necessary. What good is a RPG Maker that doesn't allow you to play the games you create? Also, how would I go about saving the maps, scripts, characters, and whatever else I create? This RPG Maker needs tons of work.

Now on to the praise: I love the tiles engine. You did good with the editor. It works a lot like the RPG Maker 2000 editor, but it has lower quality graphics. Granted, these graphics are vector art, so you could zoom in 10x and retain a lot of detail.

Other than the tiles editor, there wasn't much to this RPG engine. I still think you'll need to actually create the game in Flash to create anything worth playing, so I suggest you start creating an open-source RPG engine rather than a RPG creator. Keep the tiles editor, though. It's a masterpiece.

I don't like how slow the editor kept getting. The browser window froze every few seconds to load an error message asking about saving data to my cache. I shouldn't have to save anything to cache until I finish working on my creation. For that matter, it shouldn't save the game to cache. It should allow you to save wherever you like. I blame Macromedia for this limitation, though.

Great compared to most others.

I don't really like the whole drag-and-drop concept, and nobody ever has a snapping feature built into their dress-up games. I think there should always be customizable colors and a variety of facial expressions. I realize how much work goes into a dress-up game, because I have several of my own, but I still ask that you improve your dress-up games and add more customization.

Pretty glitchy and doesn't run well on low end PCs

I like that everything was created by you (and not ripped from other games or cartoons or whatever else), but the game itself isn't very fun. The sound effects are pretty annoying, and the game has some security holes. The practice mode lets me spawn tons of enemies, and that's only really bad for slow computers, but I was able to stock up in practice mode and change over to the actual game by right-clicking and selecting play. Basicly, the game's screwy.

I think the controls are a little odd, but the movement is pretty smooth, so I like it. The game is a little picky when it comes to hitting your opponents, though.
